    Homework

    Homework should be handed in physically during Friday discussions. For each homework, I will pick 5 problems at random to grade for correctness (of approach, not just the final answer---the final answer can be seen in the back of the book after all). If you are physically unable to come to section then you can email me your homework instead, but this should be treated as a last resort. I will (try to) return homework in section the Monday after they are due. Your lowest two homework grades will be dropped.

    As a change from previous times I've GSI'd for this course, we will not be having weekly quizzes. However, there will be "discussion participation" for up to 3% extra credit (c.f. Dr. Sheu's page for the course). I will loosely base this off of attendance, and presentation of homework problems in discussion. "Loosely" here means that it is totally fine if you miss discussion occasionally.
